This is an educational tool made to help get people interested in or learn new things about prehistoric animals! Just scroll the mousewheel to zoom in on one of these creatures and hover your mouse over it to learn something about it, or you can even click on it to open the Wikipedia page for it another such resource for a deep-dive!

This short web version of the game shows you some animals from the Chibanian to current Holocene stages of the Quaternary period , but this is just a small slice of Earth's history, as the full game is much too big to play on Itch.io!

You've found yourself at the very end of prehistory! If you started from the Cambrian period over 500 million years ago, I commend your tenacity in making it through this 25 part series and arming yourself with an encyclopaedia of Earth's animal history! But even for you, there's a perhaps unknowable wealth of incredible life yet to be discovered... If you didn't start from the Cambrian, there's a lot more than that, and you can go back through this series to learn about many of them.
